You reap what you sow

You reap what you sow

You reap what you sow. This is a phrase that people use to convey the thought that what you do today will impact you tomorrow. The principle applies in both positive and negative contexts.

What does it mean to Reap? According to Merriam-Webster to reap means to gather or harvest. It is to receive the rewards from past actions. As far as a website goes, we reap whenever we get a new “Like” or Follower on social media through that website, an email inquiry, a new sale or referral. In short, any of the outcomes from actions taken that result in future business or raised awareness.

To Sow
