Fake Social Media Followers: What not to do…

Some phony… some fake. We are all familiar with the fake name brand clothing, purses, shoes and accessories. The popular name brands sometimes have just as many copies of the faux items in circulation than the real ones. The same thing is happening today in Social Media. Social Media has turned into a way to gauge popularity. The more followers a person has, the more popular they are and with popularity comes influence $$$. There lies the problem. In an attempt to appear more popular than they really are, some celebrities, politicians and others in the public eye have allegedly made use of fake email followers. While we won’t know how certain people ended up with so many fake followers, we will tell you how it’s done.

What not to do – Step by Step:

First.
Go online to one of these technology shops that actually “sell” followers. Yes, there is such a thing. Just take our word for it, don’t bother looking…

Second. Decide how many you want to buy. You can buy anywhere from a few hundred to hundreds of thousands.

Third. Sit back and watch your profile follower numbers sky rocket! To the world, your account appears to be successful, you appear to be influential and people will suddenly want to hear what you say, the problem is… it’s fake.

It may seem like an easy way to appear influential, but it’s not the way to go. You get skewed numbers, your demographic data is meaningless and you have nobody to blame but yourself. So take the high road and avoid the fake social media followers. You will have meaningful demographic data, your social engagement will be from real people and you have the respect of so many others that didn’t take “the easy way out”.
